In October 2004 I was in Miami, Florida for an Information Security conference. After the conference I visited Key West and took a seaplane trip to the Dry Tortugas National Park. One of the more interesting things I saw there was a few boats used by Cubans in crossing over to the USA. The boats are quite small, really no more than big rowboats. The Cubans who crossed the Caribbean in those boats risked their lives for freedom.

Another view of the Dry Tortugas National Park showing a façade of the fort, which is the largest masonry building in North America. It dates to the time of the Civil War.
Thanks for your visit.
